I'm Chip Shackelford, raised in rural Eastern North Carolina.  Having been in the art field for years, I have found a creative way to utilize my surplus of scrap lumber, junk, glass, and other pieces around the house or on the side of the road. Waste Not/Want Not! I give old fragments of scrap new life again in my unique creations. From hand cut boards and pieces of tin, to fine glass items and decorative pieces, my art is a fusion of mixed media and Outsider Art. The colorful pieces blend into a colorful palette. The way I feel about my work is, "What does it do for you and how does it make you feel?", and is to be handed down for generations. My pieces have been purchased for private collections throughout the United States. All are one of a kind and all are signed.
